EXECUTIVE COACHING

Executive coaching is a powerful tool to assist busy Chief Executives and Senior Managers.

You are able to book yourself time with a skilled coach and enjoy the luxury of sharing your problems.  Your coach will not give you answers, nor will he or she run your company for you.  What your coach will do is listen, understand, facilitate, open up ideas and help you gain clarity so that you are able to make the right decisions because you have looked at the problem from all of the appropriate angles.

You have the opportunity to discuss operational problems, people issues, employee motivation, reorganisation, and a wide range of topics chosen by you.

Our coaching sessions are flexible. You choose:

  • Place – your office or off site
  • Time – usually one hour but longer if you wish
  • Frequency – weekly, monthly or as and when required
  • Style – we like to work to suit your preference rather than to use a text book model

And we guarantee confidentiality

How does Executive Coaching work?

You meet your coach and during the first meeting you share some background knowledge, your coach explains the various options and styles of coaching that are available and you agree the date for your first coaching session.

At the first session your coach will take the lead and ask appropriate questions to help you decide exactly what help you require.  From then on you have someone to talk to who has helped numerous other senior managers and executives solve problems, take serious decisions, reorganise staff, implement change, communicate more effectively, improve staff morale etc.  As we say the style of the session will be your choice.  Some of our clients prefer a structured approach whilst others just need someone to bounce off ideas.  Occasionally our coach will throw in ideas to facilitate your creative thinking but you make the decisions.  If as a result of the coaching you feel you would like to embark on a programme of consultation or training then our coach will give guidance to ensure you receive the very best professional support.  If the coaching alone meets all of your needs then you continue until you are satisfied that you have all of the answers you require.  However, even then you have a coach at the end of a telephone.  It’s a perfect solution.

Your investment

Is agreed in advance and is usually an hourly rate plus expenses – or you may prefer to agree a set fee for coaching several senior managers or directors.

Thought
"The more you think about a situation, (optimistic thinking) the more you will see small opportunities for action and the more small actions you take the more optimistic energy you will receive. An optimist keeps thinking and self-motivates. A pessimist quits thinking and then just quits."
